RYN Motors has officially begun manufacturing its first FP3 beta vehicle, marking a major milestone in the development of the company’s street legal formula car.
The FP3 beta car is being built as a full validation vehicle, designed to rigorously test and refine the platform before customer production begins. Initial assembly is focused on the complete mechanical and structural systems, with the goal of completing the beta vehicle (excluding fiberglass bodywork and aerodynamic components) by the end of March.
Once this phase is complete, RYN Motors will begin track testing to validate mechanical performance, drivetrain reliability, chassis behavior, and overall vehicle stability. This early testing phase is intended to stress critical systems under real world track conditions and inform final refinements ahead of customer builds.
Following initial testing, the FP3 beta car will receive its fiberglass bodywork and aerodynamic components. Testing will then continue with a focus on aero performance, cooling, durability, and overall system integration. Insights from both phases will directly inform final production specifications.
“This beta vehicle represents our transition from development into validation,” said Caleb, the founder of RYN. “Every mile, every data point, and every test session is about ensuring the FP3 performs exactly as intended before customer cars enter production.”
RYN Motors plans to begin manufacturing customer FP3 vehicles after completion of the beta testing program, using the finalized specifications validated during this process.
More updates will be shared as testing progresses.
