RYN Motors has officially announced the FP3 Turbo, a new high performance trim level that elevates the FP3 platform into hypercar level power to weight territory while maintaining the raw, formula driving experience that defines the brand.
Following the company’s recent transition to the Suzuki Hayabusa 1340cc Gen 3 engine platform, RYN engineered a forced induction configuration designed from the outset as a fully integrated performance package. The FP3 Turbo is not a bolt on upgrade, but a purpose built trim developed to deliver substantial gains in acceleration, torque delivery, and overall performance capability.
The FP3 Turbo carries a starting price of $101,499.
Target performance specifications include 290 horsepower, 130 ft-lb of torque, a projected 0–60 mph time of 2.6 seconds, and an estimated power to weight of 3.93 lbs/HP. Final output figures remain subject to ongoing tuning and validation testing. The platform is engineered to maintain OEM engine warranty support.
With nearly 300 horsepower in a sub 1,200 pound formula car, the FP3 Turbo achieves power to weight figures typically reserved for hypercars, while preserving the exposed wheel, driver focused experience that defines the FP3 platform.
The Turbo trim includes a Stage 2 Garrett turbo system, fully built engine with forged internals, an upgraded clutch system with increased pressure capacity and more. These upgrades are designed to ensure durability and reliability under elevated boost conditions while maintaining drivability for both street and track environments.
“The naturally aspirated FP3 is already an incredibly raw and high revving experience,” said the RYN Motors team. “The Turbo trim is for the enthusiast who wants something even more extreme. It dramatically increases torque density and acceleration while preserving the mechanical purity and balance of the platform.”
The FP3 Turbo expands the FP3 lineup into a new tier of performance without compromising the company’s core philosophy of lightweight engineering, formula inspired proportions, and street legal usability. Development and validation efforts are currently underway as part of the ongoing FP3 beta program, with calibration, cooling, and drivetrain refinements continuing in parallel.
Customers interested in the FP3 Turbo must first hold a standard FP3 preorder. The Turbo configuration is offered as a trim selection within the FP3 production process rather than as a standalone model.
RYN Motors will begin reaching out to existing preorder customers in April and May to confirm trim selections, including Naturally Aspirated and Turbo configurations. Production scheduling and build allocation will follow based on confirmed specifications.
RYN Motors will continue to provide updates as final validation testing progresses and as the FP3 Turbo moves toward customer production.
